Show NOTICE OF STOCKHOLDERS' MEETING. Mt. Baldy Mill & Mining Company. Notice is hereby given that a meeting meet-ing of the stockholders of the Mt. Baldy Mill & Mining Company, a corporation cor-poration of Utah, -which has heretofore hereto-fore forfeited its corporate franchise for failure to pay its license tax to the State of Utah, will be held at room 1301-6, Walker Bank Building, Salt Lake City, Utah, on Wednesday, the 14th day of February, 1917, at the house of ten o'clock a. m., for the purpose of considering and passine upon the action of the undersigned surviving directors and trustees in er tering into a contract for the lease and sale of the property of said corporation cor-poration for the sum of Thirty-six Thousand Dollars ($36;000.00) which contract was dated August 3rd, 1916, and upon the terms and conditions as in said contract set out; to authorize author-ize any action that may be deemed necessary to carry out said contract; and for the transaction of such other business as may properly come before said meeting. A meeting of the shareholders of the Deseret Mountain Mines Company is hereby called to meet at 437 Atlas Block, Salt Lake City, Utah, on the 13th day of February, 1917, at 2 o'clock p. m., for the purpose of con-s'dering con-s'dering and voting upon the proposition proposi-tion to amend Article VI of the Articles Ar-ticles of Incorporation of the Deseret Mountain Mines Company, by changing chang-ing the words "twenty-five thousand dollars" to "one hundred thousand dollars," and the words "two hundred hun-dred and fifty thousand shares" to "one million shares'" also to consider and vote upon the proposition to amend Article VII by changing the words "three directors" to the words "seven directors" also to consider and vote upon the proposition to amend Article XV by changing the words "two directors" to the words "four directors;" and for the purpose of considering and voting upon the act'on of the board of directors in re-conveying re-conveying to J. Slaughter, at Hinckley, Millard county, Utah, made and delivered to William W. Wells, of Moline, Illinois, a cert? in promissory promis-sory note in writing of ihat da a, thereby promising to pay to said William Wil-liam W. Wells the sum of $65,00 at Walker i others Ban:, Salt Lake City, Utaa, -"'h interest t the rate of eight ( p ent) per eDt per an num, payable on the first day of January Janu-ary and July of each year, providing further that both principal and interest inter-est should bear interest at twelve (12 per cent) per cent per annum after due; And Whereas, to secure the payment of said note, the said Frank T. Slaughter Slaugh-ter and his wife, Hannah A. Slaughter, upon said 28th day of December, 1899, made, executed and delivered to Eugene Eu-gene Lewis, as trustee, their certain trust deed in writing of that date, thereby intending to convey to the said Eugene Lewis in fee simple the south forty (40) acres of the northwest north-west quarter of section 19, township 17 south, range 7 west, of the Salt Lake meridian, situated in Millard county, Utah, but erroneously described describ-ed said land in said trust deed as the south forty (40) acres of the southwest south-west quarter of the northwest quarter in said section 19, which said trust deed was duly certified and acknowledged acknowl-edged so as to entitle the same to be recorded, and was recorded on January Janu-ary 22, 1900, in the office of the coun- recorder of Millard county, Utah, Book "B" of Mortgages, page 337, And Whereas, the said Frank T. uvughter and Hannah A. Slaughter did thereafter on the 17th day of January, Janu-ary, 1900, execute and deliver to the said Eugene Lewis, trustee, a correction correc-tion of said trust deed, amending the description therein so as to read, "The south 40 acres of the northwest quarter of section sec-tion 19, township 17 south, range 7 west, Salt Lake meridian," which said correction was duly certified and acknowledged so as to entitle the same to be recorded, and the same was recorded re-corded in the county recorder's office 'n Millard county, Utah, in book "B" of mortgages, page 341, thereby vesting in the said Eugene Lewis, trustee, a complete and perfect and fee simple title in and to said last described land. And Whereas, the said Frank T. Slaughter, upon execution and delivery deliv-ery of said note, and said trust deed, caused to be issued to the said Eugene Eu-gene Lewis certificate No. 255 of the capital stock of the Deseret Irrigation company, a corporation, certifying that Eugene Lewis was the owner of 48.64 shares of the capital stock of said irrigation company, wh'ch said shares were delivered to the said Eugene Eu-gene Lewis, as security for said indebtedness; in-debtedness; and being evidence of ownership of water rights appertain-Intr appertain-Intr to said land: And Whereas, it was in said trust deed provided that In case of default in the payment of said moneys that said Eugene Lewis, trustee, or in case of h's inability to act the sheriff of Salt Lake county, state of Utah, as sucessor in trust, should proceed to sell said described property, or any part thereof, at public vendue to the highest bidder for cash, at the west front door of the Salt Lake City court house, Salt Lake City, state of Utah, first giving twenty (20) days public notice of the time, terms and place of sale, and the property to be sold, by advert'sement in some newspaper printed in the English language and published in Salt Lake county or Millard Mil-lard county, either county, at the option op-tion of the beneficiary, said notice to be publ'shed at least once a week for three (3) successive weeks, the last publication to be before said sale; and upon said sale to execute and deliver de-liver to the purchaser a certificate of purchase thereof, and in case of 'failure to redeem within the time allowed al-lowed by law to execute a deed or deeds in fee s'mplo to the property sold. Said trust deed is hereby referred re-ferred to for a more particular description de-scription of the provls'ons in said trust deed contained. And Whereas, there 13 now due for princ'pal and interest on said indebtedness, indebt-edness, the sum of $1,023.37.
