Show THE PLASSERVILLE MIME. The Miners Strike Water and Are Driven Out of the Tunnel. "Work on the Plasserville mines in Three Mile Creek canyon has again been discontinued for a period. The, tunnel is now in 1 "0 feet. Work was being industriously pushed until a few days ago, when the miners struck a vein of water which drove them out of the funnel. The water is of an excellent quality ; in quantity it is about the size of a medium irrigating stream. There are unquestionably good indications of galena and sil ver ore in this mine, and it is to be hoped work can be resumed shortly. |
