Show It is good tfor sore eyes to 'have Goodwin's Weekly again on "the list." Judge C. C. Goodwin, one of the grand old men of western journalism, is again at the editorial helm, with his son, J. T. Goodwin, in charge of the business department. Though now eighty-two years young, Judge Goodwin Good-win is tho same forceful and graceful writer that ho was forty years ago wlhen a leader in tho bright galaxy of Nevada newspaper men, including includ-ing Mark Twain, Bret Harte, Joseph Goodman, Arthur McEwen, Sam Davis, Dan DeQuille, and 1 some others. Tho Weekly is just the vehicle for Judge Goodwin's output of rare prose. Salt Lake City is honored by having such a publication and such a writer located there. Alameda, (Cal.) Times-Star. |
