Show BIG MARKET IN UTAH SHARES . There has been no dimunition in the volume of trading on the Salt Lake Stock & Mining exchange ex-change during the past week. For a day or two, as a result of profit-taking on the part of some of those who got into the market hefore the present movement got under way, and when the stocks were far less valuable than they are today, there were slight recessions. The recovery, however, has been complete and prices now are several points higher, on the average, than they were one week ago. Alta-Big Cottonwood issues still hold the center cen-ter of the stage and there is every prospect that prevailing prices will look as cheap a month from now as the: would have appeared high around the . middle of last month. Interest in these stocks is growing with each passing day and the strongest L market patrons in the country from every r direction are making their presence felt. The market is exhibiting new features almost daily and, where only a few weeks ago, activities were conflend to such issues as Cardiff, Alta Consolidated Con-solidated and one or two others, the demand is now covering a rapidly increasing range. Within the week Wasatch Mines shares have sprung into the limelight in a fashion that has taken the breath of those who have been unable to grasp the fact that "the world do move." As late as Saturday last this stock was selling at 55 cents to CO cents. Day before yesterday it changed hands at over $1 a share. Yesterday was Arbor Day and the stock exchange was not in session. The Wasatch Mines Co. owns a number of the best and richest productive mines in the camp of Alta and everything is now practically in readiness to carry out a campaign at the properties prop-erties that will eclipse anything heretofore attempted. at-tempted. With only about 230,000 shares of issued stock and with properties that have produced millions mil-lions and resources at hand 'that can quickly be made to repeat past performances and then some, there is every reason to expect and believe that Wasatch Mines will soon be selling for two or three times what it is going at today, stick a pin in that spot! Sells Mining is another Alta-Big Cottonwood proposition that is just beginning to move. Work is now under way at the property which is expected ex-pected to (bring sensational results within the next two or three months, if not within as many weeks. This company's stock was a drug in the market a few weeks ago at 10 cents a share or less. It is now commanding about 37 cents and is going higher, just as sure as fate. And so it goes; Emma Copper is advancing and so is Columbus Ex., Rexall, Reed's Peak, iSouth Hecla, Big Cottonwood Consolidated and others. As a matter of fact, the movement in the Alta-Big Cottonwood issues is on and the few pessimists and old fogies in this town who are al-way al-way praying that something may turn up to justify their conceptions of what ought to happen, had better fold their tents and quietly steal away before be-fore they become the laughing stock of the city.
