Clark of Rochester. Mrs. Grace Woolley was the hostess at a similar affair in her honor on Weanesday. Mr. and Mrs. Joel NJjbley entertained enter-tained Informally at bridge at their homo on Canyon Road on Tuesday evening. Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Pearsall are now at home at 13 Haxton Place. Mrs. Wm. Reid will be the hostess at a luncheon at her home today. Mrs. Louis Cates and daughter are here from Arizona. They will be at the Utah Hotel until fall. Mr. and Mrs. Murray C. Godbe have gone to Long Beach to spend tho summer. Mrs. C. M. Benedict will give a bridgo tea at her home on First Avenue Ave-nue on Wednesday next in honor of Miss Josephine Weil. Mrs. L. J. Gilmer and Miss Alice Kimball entertained at a buffet luncheon lunch-eon on Thursday at the Kimball home on O street. Tho wedding of Mrs. Alice Goodwin Savage and Robert H. Parker took place in Evanston on Saturday last. Mr. and Mrs. Parker departed for the east following tho ceremony and will make their home in Now Haven. Mrs. Richard A. Keyes gavo a matinee mati-nee party at the Orphoum on Thursday Thurs-day followed by a tea at the Utah. In honor of Miss Marie Odell, Miss Lorna Russell gave a matinee party on Thursday, taking hor guosfts to "Tho Deep Purple." |
