Show HIESS IN AUTO ACCIDENT ford car driven by alvin hendricksen hits bridge at willard A ford touring car driven by alvin hendricksen who was accompanied by horton hess and paul nielsen all of this city ran into the east posts ot of the bridge on the highway just north ot of willard sunday night at about 1030 the boys were on their way home from ogden and in attempting to pass a southbound car at the bridge the driver steered the car too far to the east striking the bridge the torce force ot of the impact threw the fard car part way around which turned over several times it was practically wrecked according to sheriff john H zundel who investigated the accident mr air hess received two bad cuts on the head and was bruised about the body and limbs he was as taken to the brigham hospital and given surgical attention by dr W L smith hendrickson and hicl sen en escaped without injury the south bound car was being driven by walter valter johnson of ogden who was accompanied by another man mr johnson it is said felt the ford strike his car a glancing blow as it whirled around but it was so slight that no damage was done 0 |
