Show li Socially Inclined II A chuck hole on the Fifth Bast drive caused quite a funny mixup on a sunny afternoon of the jji early part of the week. Taking 1 1 in the park, it was, decided to make the run to I Murray, and the machine was turned into the 1 1 drive, but had not proceeded far when It got 1 stuck In a very deep and miry portion of the I road. While the chauffeur was working on a I , foundation of rocks and brush on which to run the front wheels, the young men enjoyed the I : new and exhilarating sunshine, and during the ; first half hour had quite a lonesome time. 1 1 Pretty soon, however, a machine was sighted I; froni the opposite direction, and as it pulled 1 up, was found to contain two charming girls. They refused to stop and took the other side of the road, with the result that their machine also I S was soon fli mly imbedded in the mud, and the J j party made quite a friendly quartette after they jj j had introduced themselves. Some sympathetic I teamsters secured a cable and first got the big m machine out of its rut and then this machine Ify; handled the hope and pulled the other to terra If1! firma.
