Show Henry E. Miller. Henry E. Miller, who died in this city on Saturday Sat-urday last, was a kindly, genial, capable man. He was well-known in this city and fifteen years ago was noted as a distinguished mining man. He was a partner of John Q. Packard in a great mine near Hailey, Idaho, and leaving here resided at the mine for many years. Nearly all the old band are gone. The inexorable years are constantly levying assessments. Myers, Gilmer, Mackintosh, Tiernan, Chambers, Marcus Daly, Galagher, Campbell, Salisbury Salis-bury and many others the pale procession never halts in its noiseless inarch. " 'Tis as but a watch in the night." j |
