Show FAUD U ln JUTEn IN COLLISION car occupied by salt lake duck hunters hit by electric train A hudson t touring buring car driven by john argentos who was accompanied by three other men all of salt lake city collided with the U 1 I C southbound electric car yesterday morning at about 1130 at the grade crossing at the intersection ot of sixth north and fifth west streets the men were returning from the duck hunting grounds west ot of this city and in some manner failed to see the approaching train the view ot of the tracks to the north Is somewhat hidden by an orchard to parties coming from the west but the railroad has provided a signal bell which is al ways kept in working order the names of 0 the men and their injuries were reported as follows john argentos fractured ribs bruises and probable internal injuries stanley davis bruised about the head and body thomas sallas lett left legs leg cut and bruised george left arm broken and otherwise cut and bruised brut sed the automobile it Is said was carried south along the track tor for some distance the left side ot of the body was badly damaged and both wheels on oil the lett left side torn off the wounds ot of the injured men were dressed by dr A D cooley and later they wore were taken in an ambulance to the doe doa hospital at ogden |
