He lived a quiet, useful, unostentatious, life, sensitively sen-sitively conscientious In his work, capable and so correct that of late yoare ho has been an authority au-thority as a metallurgist and assayer. He lived a blameless man and was a most useful citizen. He believed in the right; his honor and his honesty hon-esty wrapped him around like a robe in which he walked among men all his days, and not one reproach re-proach followed him to tho grave. As citizen, neighbor, husband, brother, ho filled ovory sphere with tlie exactness of one of his own assays.
