Show IConstent Journalism. The Inter-Mormon is trying to make a little capital by comparing the position of this journal now and two years ago. Two years ago this journal was supporting Mr. Roosevelt. The electoral elec-toral vote of Utah might have decided whether Theodore Roosevelt or Judge Parker should be President. All other matters were secondary to that fact. At the same time this journal from its inception has fought what is illegal in the Mormon Mor-mon church, or rather in the Mormon church priests, (who make the church from day to day), and has steadily called upon the men of Utah to throw off their slavery and to bo Americans. There is no national election this year. There is no anxiety as to who will be inaugurated as President the 4th of next March, and it is the present duty of every journal that believes in the United States government and in the principles on which it was founded, to fight this treasonable organization which controls politics in Utah, to the very death. |
