Show PURPLE DAY. Elks' Purple Day, made memorable by the many successes of former years, and which will take place on the 27th of the present month, will overshadow all past events of the kind. The various committees appointed to make the day a ' "'Uiant success have their work well in hand, and everything points to twenty-four hours of the best fun of the summer. On the evening of July 26th there will be an illuminated parade to announce that there will be something doing next day, and the following morning the big parade will be the feature, with an automobile section known as "The American Beauty." The interest in the afternoon will be centered in the races at the Fair grounds, and in the evening even-ing Saltair will be ablaze with purple, and the sport at the big pavilion will continue until midnight. mid-night.
