An ordinance amending and re-enacting Section 288 of the Revised Ordinances Ordi-nances of Salt Lake City. Be it ordained by tho City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah: Section 1. That section 288 of tho Revised Re-vised Ordinances of Salt Lake City bo, and tho same hereby is amended and re-enacted so as to read as follows: SECTION 288. HOARD OF HEALTH. APPOINTMENT. COMPENSATION. Tno Mayor shall, by and with tho advice ad-vice and consent of tho Council, appoint, ap-point, during tho term for which he Is elected, a Board of Health, consisting of a Health Commissioner, who shall bo a graduato of a reputable medical college, and two other citizens. Tho Mayor shall bo ox-ofilcio chairman of the Board. Tho compensation of each member of tho Board of Health (exclusive (ex-clusive of tho Mayor and tho Health Commissioner) is heroby fixed at five ($5.00) dollars for each meeting attended. at-tended. Tho Health Commissioner shall receive as compensation, In full for all services rendered tho City, a salary of twelve hundred ($1,200.00) dollars per annUm, payablo monthly as aro tho salaries sal-aries of other City ofilcers.
