Show R The strongest evidence of the constantly in- HH ci easing faith of home owners in Salt Lake real Hj ( estate is finding as gocd an indication in the pur- M chase of home sites on the north bench this spring Hj as in any other way. H It is probable that the development of the H north bench as a residence site marks a more H N important epoch in the marketing of residence m sites than the development of any other portion m of the city. It is the natural dwelling place of m I those who seek to escape the smoke and dirt and M j noise of the down town districts, and who want M t for themselves and their families pure air, above M the smoke line, canyon breezes, and accessibility m to one or more street car lines. Ninth, Tenth and m ' Eleventh avenues on the north bench number M . many fine new homes this year, among them sev- M eral blocks of homes constructed on the Califor- H nia bungalow style with wide verandas, command- M ing a splendid view of the valley and the moun- tains, big airy rooms with plenty of sunlight and (in the larger houses sleeping porches are correctly cor-rectly situated. These bungalows have been built H by the Salt Lake Security & Trust Company, and M are for sale on an arrangement whereby they fl can be paid for with the money ordinarily used M for rent, and with each payment one acquires a M property interest in his home. All improvements m are in on these north bench avenues, including H city water works, gas, and telephones. In con- M ' structing the various bungalows the Salt Lake M Security & Trust Company has paid particular at- m I tention to style, durability and convenience, and B modern construction methods have been era- H j ployed throughout. |
