Show B Rev. Miller Dead f TEWS from St. Louis announces the death of Hi Dr. G. T. Miller. It causes here many tributes H' to the worth of the blameless man. He was B" for twenty years here a clergyman and teacher. H He opened the St. Mark's school when such a B school was welcomed bv ut a few people here. H He made it a success. xj was a brave, silent H worker, a fine scholar, a most lovable man when one had reached his inner self. Naturally he was shy and retiring and it took a good while to get up to him, but his deeper self was all gentleness and truth. He lived to a good old age and all his years since childhood were filled with earnest work. It is a sorrow to think him dead; it is a solace to know that the arms of mercy and of peace are, In his last sleep, a pillow under his head. |
