Show TRAVELING SOME. Miss Bess McMillan will leave next week for Spokane to spend the winter with her sister, Mrs. Gustave Luellwitz. Mrs. Rhodes, wife of Captain Rhodes, former- Ily of this city, is here visiting her brother, Dr. E. F. Root. Mrs. Mary M. F. Allen is visiting her sister, Mrs. George R. Hancock. -. Miss Elizabeth Niles has returned, after a summer in the East. Miss Charlotte Holmes is In New York-with her father. They leave shortly for a trip through Cuba. Dr. and Mrs. S. H. Allen are home, after a trip to California. Mr. and Mrs. Solon Spiro are in Cincinnati, called there by the serious illness of Mrs. Spiro's father. Mr. and Mrs. Jay T. Gilmer and family are at the Gilmer home on Eleventh East for the winter. win-ter. I Miss Estelle Clinton is in Boston with her 1 father. I Dale A. Parke left during the week for Pliila- 1 delphia to enter on his senior year of the law I department of the University of Pennsylvania. Miss Lesley Woodruff has gone to New York I to continue her musical studies. ' I Dr. and Mrs, J. M. Dart are in the East on a 1 visit. Mrs. Louis Russell Brewer is at the Post, the guest of Mis. Paul C. Potter. Captain R. H. Allen left late last week for San Francisco, whence he sails for the Philippines Philip-pines to join his regiment. Mrs. Allen will remain re-main here for some time. Mrs, A. B. Sawyer is visiting her daughter, Mrs. Carl G. Brown, in San Francisco. Miss Agatha Berkhoel has returned to New York to resume her work in music. John Boyd arrived this week from Vancouver. B. C, to be with his brother, Duncan Macpherson. Boyd, who is still very ill at St. Mark's hospital. Mrs. F. M. Payne of South Bend, Indiana, is expected in town shortly to visit her daughter, Mrs. C. H. Doollttle. J. B. Cosgriff is hpmo frpm Boulder, Colorado. Commodore and Mrs. Holland T. Stevenson have arrived and are at the home of Mr. and Mrs Richard A. Keyes. Mr. and Mrs. Herman A. Prosser sailed on Tuesday from Newj York on the Kalsor Wllho'.m for their honeymoon through Europe. . |
