Show HAPPENINGS AND WHEREABOUTS. t t Mr. and Mrs. M. B. Sowles left today for Chicago for a short stay. Mrs. J. R. Davis and daughter, Miss Nellie Davis, are to leave in a short time for an eastern trip. Mrs. T. C. Bailey and Miss Edna Bailey will be home soon, after a visit of several months in St. Louis, New York and other eastern cities. Miss Francis Cowan, who has been attending attend-ing Vassar cohege during the year, started for home on June 2nd. She will stop en route in St. Louis to visit with a classmate for a week or two. Dr. A. C. Behle and Dr. U. V. Worthington have left for New York to attend the American Medical convention. Mr. and Mrs. Rudger Olawson and Miss Pearl Bailey sailed, last Saturday, Trom Montreal for London. Miss Bailey will return next fall to Sa'.t Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Louis Simon and daughter, Irene, will leave soon for a six month's tour of Europe, when they will visit all the interesting places on the continent. Mrs. A. Smithen and daughter, Rose, accompanied accom-panied by Mrs. William Masterton of Ogden, left today for New York, from where they will sail on June 11th for Europe. Mrs. Tracy L. Clarendon has as her guest for a week, Miss Lotta Barrison. Mayor and Mrs. J. S. Bransford, Mr. and Mrs. Wallace M. Bransford and Mr. and Mrs. Lewis A. Evans and children left this week for California, making the trip by automobile. They will tour I California, remaining there for a month or more. j Miss Joy DeCamp left early in the week for her home in Oakland, California. Miss DeCamp ! has been the guest of her aunt, Mrs. Ledyard M. Bailey for several months. Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Wrench returned early in the week from New York and are at home in their apartments in the Bransford. Mrs. Abner Luman, 679 East Second South street, has as her guests the Misses Josephine and Louise Murray of Rock Springs, Wyoming. Doctor and Mrs. J. Beattie are at home after a four months' trip to the Hawaiian islands and one month in southern California. ! Dr. Heber J. Sears of Chicago, formerly of Utah, is in town visiting with relatives and friends. |
