| Show BARBECUE DAY HUGE SUCCESS I 1 four Thousand Delicious buffalo sandwiches are served on wednesday the buffalo barbecue put auf over on wednesday by the business men of 0 brigham city through the cooperation of the scoutmasters Scout masters aud and doy boy scouts I 1 was most successful from every point of 0 view and more than hot but talo falo sandwiches were served the people ot of this community on this day the barbecue was staged as a part ot of the program on bargain day and in addition to the big feed nearly fifty merchants cooperated in offering a special bargain tor for the occasion along with other regular bargains there were many good buys and that the general public realized this tact fact can be bourne out by the throngs ot of people seen on our business thoroughfares all day wednesday the affair was sponsored by th the Aler merchants chants committee ot of the box elder commercial club and put over by a special committee composed ot of F W fishburn claude and arthur sycamore the committee through the columns ot of the news wishes to thank frank Hicken loope r and his aids nello Chri and his aids the scout band and its leader and all who contributed in any way in making the day a success it Is this fine cooperative spirit that builds communities and develops true citizenship the splendid buffalo used in the barbecue weighing nearly a thousand pounds dressed was captured at antelope island by a committee ot of Scouts and citizens and was barbecued at the pit on the sixth ward meeting house grounds it was roasted coasted in perfect shape and when served in hot sandwiches to the people was delicious and appetizing people fairly clamored tor for the sandwiches the buffalo was sliced at the jensen bakery through the courtesy of rudolph 0 |
