Show We suspect that General Booth's early education educa-tion was neglected, his education in the courtesies which pertain to enlightened society. Then, again, we suspect that he has been petted and praised until he has become a bit dictatorial; in a measure meas-ure careless of the sensibilities of other people, and forgets that it would be easy for a rhymester to make Booth rhyme with uncouth. His break in the Theatre on Sunday was an exhibition, of innate in-nate selfishness and plebeian manners, which it was painful to witness. |
