Show INFAMOUS JOURNALISM. J In its desperation, the Tribune seems to be In A the same state of mind that a crazy Jap is when he M determines to "run amuck," to wound as many as If he can until he is finally mercifully killed. But the crazy Jap selects decent weapons, while the f Tribune throws acid. Its reference to Mr. Suther land as " a deputy of Apostle Smoot" Is one of those Insults that could be only properly met by a neat resort to nose pulling. It is not worth 1 killing anybody for; it ought not to be dignified j by' a square threshing, but a good twist on the -writer's nose would cover the case nicely. It would be dirty beyond expression to come from any source, but from the Tribune it is simply incomparable incom-parable insolence. For it to daily attack a man like Mr. Sutherland, solely through the personal hate of the chief owner of the paper, is a disgrace to journalism, and it is a pretty bitter pill for this community to be forced to swallow every morning |
