L - " Garfield County ClerkAuditor Camille Moore was "both excited and honored" at her election to the post of second vice president of the Utah Association of Counties at their annual convention recently held in St. George. The validation vali-dation by her peers was very gratifying and means within two years she will ascend to the presidency of that influ-encial influ-encial organization. Moore began as road department secretary sec-retary for Brian Bremner in 1990 and was elected to clerkauditor in 1994. Utah Association Of Counties Elects New Board Member PANGUITCH - Camille Moore, Garfield County ClerkAuditor was elected as second vice president of the Utah Association of Counties (UAC) Executive Committee of the Board of Directors at the organization's Annual Convention Conven-tion in St. George, Nov. 14. Moore has served Garfield County diligently in the capacity capaci-ty for 13 years. Also at that same convention, conven-tion, Salt Lake CityEmery County Sheriff LaMar Guymon was elected to be president. Guymon previously served as first vice president, and now moves up to replace out-going President Gary Herbert, Utah County Commissioner. Following his year of service, Herbert will now serve as immediate imme-diate past president. Camille Caine, Weber County Commissioner, was elected as first vice president and RaNae Wilde, Daggett AuditorRecorder, was elected as secretary. UAC, a not-for-profit organization, organi-zation, is a unified voice for county government, through communication, collaboration, education and training, and responsible management of county issues and resources. The organization represents all 29 Utah counties and more than 300 elected officials. |
