The party was on the 10th but she was actually born on Sept. 11. Her son, Verl and wife, Mariam Mclnelly of Grantsville and 10 family members; Edith and Ammon Barker and five family members; Clarence and Mona Rae Twitchell of Antimony and nine of their family; Delano and LaRona Callahan and 16 members of their family; Robert and Gwen Mclnelly of Henrieville and daughter, Caran Tucker of Aurora, Colo, and 11 family members; Ramona Copfer, a daughter and eight family members were in attendance. Also here to help celebrate were Danny and Lois Spencer of Escalante and Rae Smith of Henrieville. A total of 64 family members spent time visiting and enjoying a great meal. We wish Golda a happy birthday and many more. Shawn Chynoweth and Kytlin Chynoweth took third place in the Mt. Carmel Night Golf Tournament Tourna-ment on Saturday. Visiting with Berthene Griffin were her grandson Richard and his wife Heather of Spanish Fork. He is a son of Royce and Suzanne. Also visiting with Berthene was her son, Brad of South Jordan. He gathered some fire wood while here. . Kathy Goulding celebrated her (See HENRIEVILLE on page 5-A) i HENRIEVILLE From Page 4-A birthday with daughters Sheila Or-ton Or-ton of Panguitch and granddaughter Kamrie and Stephanie Roberts and sons Colton, Hayden and Shayd. Then Kathy and Steve went out for a nice dinner in the evening. They are just about finished with the new paint job on their home and it looks real nice. Speakers in Henrieville LDS Sacrament meeting were Young Mens' President Carlon Johnson, Elders Quorum President Delon Fletcher, the new High Priests Group Leader Gary Johnson. Released from the High Priests group was Guy Thompson, Kenny Goulding, Daniel Rose and Robert Mclnelly. Lisa Chynoweth was released as second counselor in the Primary and Lori Piatt was released as cultural arts specialist and Shawn Chynoweth as Sunday School teacher. Lisa was then called as first counselor in the Primary and Heather -T. Johnson as second counselor and Sarah Sorenson as cultural arts specialist. Attending the senior citizen social at Bryce Pioneer Village on Monday was Rae Smith, Delpha Rose, Berthene Griffin, Teora Willis, Virginia B. Johnson, Lula Moore, Doyle and Kathryn Neilson and Bishop Ernie and Wynona Henderson. An enjoyable program was presented, some special awards given and a delicious meal was served. Rae Smith and daughter, Barbara Jagger of Escalante attended the LDS ward temple day on Saturday in St. George. Also one day, Barbara, Bar-bara, Dane Brett, Quintin, Jim, Jared and Rilee came and spent the day cutting firewood for Rae for the winter. Visiting with Teora Willis was her daughter, Pat and husband, Clarence and Lyle of Grantsville. They were really a lot of help getting the garden cleaned and other yard work done. Teora is still ser-ing ser-ing in the St. George LDS Temple and comes home most weekends. JoAnne Goulding had doctor appointments in Panguitch with a hearing specialist. Ernie Henderson and Edgar Dunham Dun-ham were in Cedar City for some shopping. Mitch Henderson was also in Cedar for a few days checking check-ing on employment there. |
