Eagars was an old friend from . ; " Littleton, Colo., Liz Jacobs, now ' living in Eagle Mountain. Visiting Lula Moore was Maxine Chynoweth's daughter, Robin and her husband, Don and their granddaughter of West ' Jordan. Lula had a great Mothers Day with visits from all of her family. Denise Clark was home from school to spend Mothers Day with her mom, Susie Clark. George and Barbara Paris were visitors at Rae Smiths for a special Mothers Day. They live in Parowan. Kathy Goulding was in Cedar City for dental appointments. Her daughter Sheila Orton went along. Doris Liles had a great Mothers Day with her son and daughter-in-law Jeris and Bonnie of Escalante, her grandson grand-son Cory and daughter Ashlee, and Gary and Marcy Liles of Cedar City. After a delicious dinner, they shopped at Rubys Inn. Tarynn and Krista Piatt are home for the summer from Dixie. Robert and Gwen Mclnelly were in Cedar City for dental appointments. They enjoyed visiting Robert's mother Golda who is now 96 years old. Nathan Piatt was in Orem for a few days. Several of the LDS youth were in St. George where they did baptisms. A large number of women also went to attend the LDS Stake Relief Society Day at the temple. Beverly Thompson was happy to hear from all of her family. Bob Willis is still in the hospital. hos-pital. He has been moved to the special care unit. We wish him well and are sure he would appreciate visits. Max and Lozann Eagar went on a camping trip to celebrate Max's birthday. Kaden Chynoweth was graduated grad-uated from LDS Primary and ordained a deacon on Sunday. Cal and Martha Schow stopped by for a visit with Ernie and Wynona Henderson. Also visiting them were Monte and Sylvia Luker of Escalante. Don't forget to remind your family and friends about the Veterans Memorial Dedication on May 25 at 11 a.m. at the Tropic Park. More and more tourists are coming through our town. Is your community spirit where it should be. Let's all work on our yards and beautify our town. |
