Show Scenic Byway 12 Committee To Name Coordinator By Allysia Angus Coordinator Position Since designation of Scenic Byway 12 in 2002 as an Ail-American Ail-American Road, the byway committee continues to make progress in its effort to implement imple-ment the Corridor Management Plan (CMP). As part of that con tinued effort, the byway committee com-mittee is currently reviewing applications, submitted by interested inter-ested citizens, for the Byway Coordinator position. The position posi-tion description was advertised in local newspapers and at post offices in towns along the byway. The position responsibilities responsi-bilities include community outreach, out-reach, meetings facilitation, plan implementation, and administrative duties. The byway committee expects to make a selection in the near future. Committee Members In the last 10 months, the Scenic Byway 12 Committee has established a committee constitution and bylaws, filled committee seats, elected an executive committee, and forwarded for-warded byway projects for consideration con-sideration during the 2004 National Scenic Byway grant funding cycle. The Scenic Byway 12 Committee Constitution and Bylaws, which determined the organizational structure and voting vot-ing memberships of the byway committee, were finalized and adopted in early 2003.
