Show PUBLIC I NOTICES PUBLIC NOTICE Please take notice that the Garfield County Commission has scheduled a public hearing on Monday, November 11, 1996, in the Garfield County Commission Chambers, located at 55 South Main, Panguitch, Utah, at 2:15 p.m. to receive public comment concerning the plat amendment to . the Ticaboo Subdivision Piatt III . (3rd Amended) located in Section 16, Township 36 South, Range 11 East, Salt Lake Base & Meridian. Published in the Garfield County News on Oct. 31 and Nov. 7, 1996. PUBLIC NOTICE The Five County Association of Governments Human Services ; Council will host a SPECIAL PUBLIC MEETING addressing 1) Welfare Reform and 2) local Legislative Concerns. The meeting e win be held Tuesday November 12, 1996 in the St. George City - Council Chambers, 175 East 200 t North, St. George, Utah beginning ;. at 11:00 a.m. This meeting will provide a forum for area residents and agencies within the five county area to become more informed about the Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Act of 1996, and the Temporary Assistance to Needy Families block grant in Utah. 6 We will have the most current information available to us. We look forward to questions and comments from participants which will be used to further research this new bill and block grant. There are many issues that are still unclear. We encourage all five County area residents and agency representatives to attend this meeting. We will also discuss local issuescGncerns relating to the upcoming legislative session.
