Show - Panguitch Patter - Mamie Talbot A lot of hunters have been here to try out their skill and many plain old non-hunting family members have come to catch up on visiting before snow flies which, judging from the drippy weather, could be right away. The Gale Wilcocks have had family and friends off and on all week. Tom Milnor, Evan Wilcock, Judy Gai Davis, Tamra Davis, Joni Hansen, Dewayne Davis, Debra Slaugh and Shawn Slaugh all of Cedar City made it here. Les Allen of Anaheim and Bruce Stingle of Vista spent the weekend. Hope Dalton of Hatch and her daughters Shan Clark, Kanab, and Pam Stubbs, Parowan, along with the Norman Henderson family, of Henderson, Nev., were here. Leona Bistline of Canebeds, Ariz., stayed with the Wilcocks for a week while her dad, Garn Wilcock, was in the local hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Wilcock and Melinda Wilcock spent a day visiting visit-ing with Garn and the Gale Wilcocks. Gale and Gai went to Paorwan to visit the Ron Mack-leprangs Mack-leprangs and Madge Stevens. Gai and grandson, Bo Wilcock, went to Hatch one day to see Hope Dalton and kids and with Bob B rutin of Pasadena, Calif. Jean LeFevre took a delightful 10-day trip with her kids, Rex and Grace LeFevre Sandberg, to Phoenix. They visited with Jean's sister, enjoyed a boat trip all the way up to Rainbow Bridge at Lake Powell, saw a lot of interesting country and had an all-around good time. Dellis LeFevre was in Bountiful with her son, Grant LeFevres' family for two weeks while she had eye surgery and recovered. She is now "looking good" in more ways than one. Dellis went with a group of people to St. George where she kept a checkup eye appointment, came out with a "great" report and got to spend the day with her sister-in-law, Reba LeFevre, wife of the late Carl LeFevre of Panguitch. Danny and wife Lynae Hughes Fletcher have a new little boy whom they named Billy Joe. Grandparents are Bill and wife Mahalia Hughes of Panguitch and Mandy and the late Ariel Fletcher of Cannonville. Grandpa Fletcher died at the local hospital the day Billie Joe and Mom went home from there. Ariel's funeral service was held Oct 24 in Cannonville. The Bill Hughes went to Gunnison Gunni-son to check up on daughter, Debra Veazy, who was a patient at the hospital there. Visiting at Ingra Richards' home during the deer hunt were son Kay and his wife Ann Richards. Ingra's granddaughter, Leslie Richards and roommate Wendy Bullock of Southern Utah State College in Cedar City were here for the first weekend of the hunt and were joined on the second weekend by friends, Christine Toly and Vickey Bailey, both of Salt Lake City. Ingras' entire en-tire family, including Ned Richards and his wife Mary's family of Panguitch Pan-guitch and with the exception of Elder Robert Richards, on a mission mis-sion in Hong Kong for the LDS Church, joined with her for a very enjoyable week. Verlaine Matthews was home from Cedar City to be with her folks the Verl Matthews, and Car-Ian Car-Ian Johnson came from Orem to visit with his family, the Dennis Johnsons. . . . Dr Kevin Hansen had his motti-er motti-er and a brother and family here for ti few dsys Lyle Miller's kids, Garald and wife Marlene Miller Lewis of Las Vegas, spent time with mom. Dr. John N. Henrie visited in town with his mother, Mary Henrie, Hen-rie, and other family members. Martha Riggs Ipson of Price was at the Jay Riggs. Wally and wife Kelhe Lee were here at the Wallace Lees, then went to St. George to check out the place for settling, thereafter he graduated from law school. . Emma Ahlstrom is in Provo tending grandchildren. Alice Henrie has been in Springville to help with son Val Henrie's family at the birth of a girl named Carolyn Marie. Mom Lorraine Lor-raine is home after the surgery and doing fine. Alice Henrie got to visit with Leona Cameron and the Elliot Camerons and catch up on family doings. . , , Addie Tebbs Miller, wife of the late Don Miller, and sister of Ray and Dan Tebbs, passed away in Salt Lake City. Her funeral services were there on Monday. Jay and wife Maxine Crosby have had son, Richard Crosby, visiting from Phoenix and Maxine s sister and husband RVene and Warren Sheets visiting from Upland, Calif. While Warrent spent the week at the deer camp, the sisters sis-ters went to Zions Canyon to see their brother. At the Crosby Deer Camp were former residents all Crosbys Norman and Mark of Orem, Evan, Justin and Cody of Sandy, Lynn of Cedar City and Silas, Tom, Dee and Doug from Salt Lake City. Linda Allen Orton took her kids to Kingston to visit with her folks. Baptised into the LDS Church on Saturday were Amber Veater, daughter of the Wally Veaters and Marilyn Woolsey's son, Stoney Woolsey. Steele and wife Ireta Henrie, along with daughters Marilyn Woolsey's family, Richard, Marianne Mari-anne Crofts, Ron and Pamela Henrie Hen-rie Jacobson of Cedar City, spent the Utah Education Association school vacation at Disneyland. Elder Vaugnn J. Featherstone, general authority over the Utah South Mission, will be the visitor for LDS Stake Conference here on Saturday and Sunday. The Marvin (Bob) Sellors have had their daughter and other family members with them this week. A correction to last week's statement concerning the Deseret Industries drive. It will be held Saturday, Sat-urday, Nov. 7 from 9 to 11 a.m. Anyone having donations too large to handle such as refrigerators, stoves, etc., may call a member of the bishopric from his ward, and help will be provided to get them to the pickup site at the stake center parking lot. |
