Show fa;: it 679-8047 , ' mm MMM Mil The Garfield County Commission and Planning Commission hereby announce the scheduling of two public hearings regarding the newly-drafted County General Plan. The General Plan is intended to provide policy direction to county officials regarding present and future needs, land use, general welfare, conservation, and the economic development of the county. The Plan concentrates o nthe unincorporated lands outside municipal boundaries. Each city or town is responsible to develop a General Plan for its jurisdiction. Copies of the Public Hearing Draft General Plan will be available for inspection after February 27, 1995 at the public libraries in Panguitch and Escalante and the County Courthouse. The public hearings are intended to receive formal public comment regarding the General Plan.
