Show Tropic News Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey Miles and family, Austin, Texas, spent four days visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Adair. Mr. and Mrs. Larvin Pollock have a new granddaughter bom to Mr. and Mrs. Brent Allen in California. Cali-fornia. The Pollocks left Monday to get acquainted with the baby. Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Adair were in Provo for Arnold's medical care. Mr. and Mrs. Ned Price, Casper, Wyoming, were overnight visitors at the Larvin Pollock home. Memberships for the Dennis Wintch family were read in the Tropic LDS Ward Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Alan Sudwecks are visiting in Tropic. A missionary farewell for Brady Syrctt, son of Mr. and MonDell Syrett was held Sunday in the Tropic Ward. He entered the Missionary Training Center Wednesday, prior to leaving for his LDS mission to Korea. Elaine Brown spent the weekend with her mother La Rene Munson. Mr. and Mrs. Gary Davis visited the Wallace Ott family. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Pollock, Delta, visited with their parents Mr. and Mrs. Larvin Pollock. The Obic Shakespears had their daughters Mavis Strebble and Gwen Perry home for a few days. Mr. and Mrs. Bybee Campbell, St. George, visited with the Afton Pollocks. Kelly Moore spent a few days helping her mother can beans and other produce while the menfolks went bow hunting. After the open house for her 90th birthday, Hope Wintch stayed in town to visit with her sons Kent and Dean Wintch for a few days. Mr. and Mrs. Royce Griffin visited vis-ited Mrs. Griffin's mother, at the Dean Wintch home, before she returned re-turned to her home in Midland, Texas. Mr. and Mrs. Kent Wintch took their grandchildren, Kristie and Rusty Hiquera to Las Vegas to board a plane back to their home in Concord, Calif. Sharon Pollock spent Thursday in Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Shakcspear are having a double carport built onto their home. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Lcavitt and sons spent the weekend in Salt Lake City visiting Richard's sister Launa West and doing school shopping. Mr. and Mrs. Ira Littlcfield went to Richfield Thursday to pick up their grandson Eric Grindlcr, who had been visiting cousins there. Mark Salerno visited his grandparents, grand-parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ira Littlcfield on his way back to his base in Ft. Worth, Texas. He and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. McKay Baitings also went camping. |
