Show C .. . . J Herbert W. Stoker JUNCTION Funeral services for former Junction resident, Herbert Her-bert W. Stoker, age 88, were held on Tuesday, Feb. 5, in Boulder City, Nev. Stoker was a retired forestry aide for the United States Forest Service, Panguitch Lake District, having lived in Panguitch from 1943-1969. Following his retirement, retire-ment, after 25 years of service, he became a rancher. The service was conducted by LDS Bishop Dale Imlay. The family fami-ly prayer was offered by Douglas Stoker with prelude and postlude music provided by Stormie Stoker. Rell Kay Sudweeks rendered the invocation followed by a eulogy given by Wayde Stoker. CEDAR CITY -- Pearl Worthen Rowley, 72, of Parowan died Feb. 9, 1991, in Cedar City. She was born Dec. 7, 1918, in Panguitch to Herbert Nello and Alice Prince Worthen. She married mar-ried Ronald F. Rowley Sept. 13, 1938 in the St. George LDS Temple. Tem-ple. She was an active member of the LDS Church, serving in many leadership lead-ership positions during her life, most recently in the name extraction extrac-tion program. Survivors include her husband, Ronald, of Parowan; one daughter and five sons, Mrs. Lynn (Reta Re-nee) Re-nee) Jensen, Michael R.Rowley and Ronald Craig Rowley, all of Parowan; Thomas Herbert Rowley of Orem; Larry W. Rowley of Green River; Norman Rowley, of Enoch; 32 grandchildren; 12 great- Special music included a piano solo by Stormie Stoker, a musical tribute by all the great-grandchildren and a vocal solo from Tammy Stoker. Speakers paying farewells were Mitchell Stoker and Grant Williams with final remarks by Bishop Dale Imlay. Kent Stoker offered the benediction. Pallbearers included Craig Stoker, Kent Stoker, Sterling Stoker, Sto-ker, Kenneth Manzanares, Rell Kay Sudweeks and Dan Rodman. Graveside services were held at the cemetery in Junction with Bishop Craig Stoker providing the dedication of the grave, under the direction of Magleby and Sons Mortuary, Richfield. Pearl Worthen Rowley grandchildren. Also surviving the deceased are nine siblings: Mrs. George (Dorothy) Rowley of Parowan; J. Frank Worthen of Price; Robert D. Worthen of Kearns; Parley Rey Worthen of Clear Lake Oaks, Calif.; Mrs. Mayo (Hazel) Rich of Panguitch; Mrs. Floyd (Pat) Fox, of St. George; Sheldon Dick Worthen, Orem; Joseph Alan Worthen of Payson; and Mrs. Stephen (Jean) Dickson of Morgan Funeral services were held in the Parowan LDS 1st Ward Chapel with interment in the Parowan Cemetery under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary. Eva Lou Dunham Funeral services for Eva Lou Dunham were held on Saturday, Feb. 16 at the Cannonville LDS Ward Chapel with Bishop Joe Thompson officiating. Clcle Fletcher offered the family fam-ily prayer with Deloy Dutton presenting pre-senting an invocation. Prelude and postlude music were performed by Gay Shakespeare. Other musical numbers were by a vocal quartet consisting of George Thompson Sr., George Thompson, Joe Thompson, Thomp-son, and Monte Twitchell and two vocal solos by Kenny Golden. Michael Clarke and George Thompson spoke with Bishop Joe Thompson giving the closing remarks. re-marks. Monte Twitchell offered the benediction and Lark Reynolds dedicated the grave. Pallbearers were Ethan Dunham, Dun-ham, Ed Dunham, Aaron Moss, Hank Moss, Lonnie Schow and Mitchell Sitz. |
