Show Cannonville Dorothy Leavitt Mr. and Mrs. Joe Hughes traveled trav-eled to St. George, where Violet Rae had a medical appointment. They also celebrated their wedding anniversay Oct. 4. Mr. and Mrs. Norm LeFevre also celebrated a wedding anniversary on Oct 8. Mr. and Mrs. Rex Fletcher of Salt Lake City and John Fletcher of Boulder City, Nev., are here visiting visit-ing their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clele Fletcher. Merwin Dunhan traveled to Salt Lake City to bring his wife home. She has been visiting relatives in the area. School children were home Thursday and Friday while teachers attended Utah Education Association Associa-tion meeting. Mr. and Mrs. George Bushnell of Bountiful were here visiting Marilyn's Mari-lyn's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Marion Clark Saia Taukinukufili and his son Jay Lutes spent the weekend in Salt Lake City visiting Saia's brother. Mr. and Mrs. Lamonte Twitchell traveled to Salt Lake City where they enjoyed a visit at the Salt Lake City zoo. They also stopped in Heber, where they visited with Rita's sister Robin Smith. Glenda Feltner traveled to Salt Lake City, where she had a cancer removed from her face. Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Shakespeare of St. George were here visiting Kay's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jody Heaton. Speakers in Sacrament meeting Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Alma Fletcher, speaking on how to care for our chapel. Joey Mathews was ordained a teacher in Sacrament meeting Sunday Sun-day by his grandfather, Joe Hughes. Dawn Stock spent a day in Cedar City last week doing some shopping. shop-ping. La Vera Moss and daughter Janet Moss, traveled to Cedar City on Oct. 8 to visit Mr. and Mrs. Chad Moss and to celebrate Chad's and Janet's birthday. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Mangum from Littlefield, Ariz, were here over the weekend visiting Melvin's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Don Mangum. Maxine Veater traveled to Panguitch, Pan-guitch, where they attended the wedding and reception of Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Veater. Sherron Jenson of Springville was here visiting her mother Melda Davis. |
