Show Bald Eagles Back For The Winter Bald eagles are beginning to return to Utah for their annual winter visit. During daylight hours, bald eagles forage widely over low elevation habitats looking look-ing for small game and cruising streams for fish. Look near the tops of large trees such as cotton-woods cotton-woods as well as along the ground for loafing and actively hunting bald eagles. Toward evening, bald eagles form communal roosts. It is not uncommon to see, 30 or more eagles roosting in one tree. A car makes a good blind to view eagles. |
