Show Kenrieville The Thorley Johnsons had son Nolan and family of Green River, Thomas Brough family and their sonss Moyle, Roland and Thor of Cedar City, and their daughter Cynthia from Lcwiston, Ida. for holidays. The program presented by the Primary on Christmas eve was very good and Santa brought treats for all children. The Guy Thompson family presented the program at church. Oscar Willis had all of his family here during the holidays, Rick and Daryl and their families of Eager, Ariz., daughter Suzanne and her husband of Salt Lake City and LaJune and family who live here. The David Roses are proud of twin daughters born to daughter Mildred and husband Dan Chidester of Richfield on Nov. 22. This makes 13 children for the Chidcsters and 48 grandchilren for the Roses. The Roses had the David Payne family of Cedar City as visitors. Visiting at the Clifford Mathews was the Collin Rose family of Annabella. Mr. and Mrs. Irving Rose and daughter Peggy spent some time up north visiting their family. The Robert Pattersons had son Kevin from Cedar City and daughter Kathy home from beauty school in Provo. Visiting the Eugene Quillers were son Gene of Orem and the Andy Mortcnsens. Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Quilter, Laura Clark and Mary Card Izatt attended a missionary testimonial in Salt Lake City for Shcron Izatt. She is going to the San Bernardino, Calif, mission. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Partner are visiting family members up north and then will go down to Las Vegas to visit daughters Carol and Joyce. The Dewey Willises had son Cecil's four children visiting for several days and then they took them and met Cecil in Gunnison. Jeff Johnson is working in California with an oil rig. Marjorie Ford had daughter Mary here from Cedar City. Connie Kleese visited her mother Virginia Smith. Janet LeFevre had daughter Joyce and family of Salt Lake City for a visit. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Goulding Jr. had her daughters Cindy who teaches school in Orem and Paula who is attending Utah Tech visit them. They all attended a Heaps Christmas reunion held in Cedar City. The Troy Goulding family visited his parents the Steve Gouldings. Berthene Griffin spent Christmas at the Wade Bameys in Escalante and brought a grandson home for a visit Those who participated in the Christmas musical presented here are to be complimented on a job well done. The Lee Smiths had sons Bart and family and Ben of Cedar City and Mr. and Mrs. Ethan Smith of Washington for the holidays. Mr. and Mrs. Riley Miller are in Yuma, Ariz, where they will spend the winter. Ed Littlefield and Tammy Littlefield went to Peoria, Ariz, and brought Ed's daughter Kori to spend Christmas. Mark Salemo is in Escalante visiting his mother and Kori will go back with him. Jim Smiths had daughter Barbara and family and son Jim and family of Escalante for Christmas. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Goulding played Santa their grandchildren at the David Pollock home at 5:30 Christmas morning. Frankie Moore and mother Lula Moore met Gayle Ferrin of Farmington in Beaver and brought her here for a visit. The descendants of Roxie Chynoweth held their Christmas party at the ward hall. Family members met at her home on Christmas eve for their annual gift giving. Mr. and Mrs. Darreld Neilson made a trip to Salt Lake City where the son of daughter their daughter Sherie and her husband Russell Hatch was being treated at Primary Medical Center for a brain concussion suffered in a fall. The child's parents were able to take him home but he is still very ill. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Piatt and family have gone to Disneyland for vacation. |
