Show By Ella Adair 679-8648 The rain came, and what a wonderful result. Our lawns are green, the flowers no longer hang their heads, the birds are singing, and everyone is happy. It doesn't take much to work a miracle and change the desert look to green in Tropic. We are very thankful for the moisture that was so badly needed. The past week has been reunion week, only four at one time took many of our residents away from home to visit with relatives. The George-Louisa Bybee family met at the town park, all 164 of them, coming from Nevada, Oklahoma, Colorado as well as Utah. The Harvey-Roxie Chynoweth group met at Ruby's Inn campground and filled most of the campsites with their group. Parley and Lydia Pollock's family met at the Hcnricville Park and had a great time visiting and reminiscing. Next came the Sherman-Roene Baugh group, not so many children. They met at Ruby's Inn and the Lillis Francisco home for their reunion. Gloria Palmer and Janet S. LeFevrc spent the weekend with the Bart Palmers. Lloyd and Ella Colvin spent a few days with LaRene Munson before returning to their home in California. Mr. and Mrs. Lyndon Sudwecks have a new granddaughter born to their daughter Lyncttc Sawyer and husband in Panguilch. Mr. and Mrs. John Niemann have a new grandson born to daughter and son-in-law Kim and Mabry Word. Margaret M. Mccham enjoyed a visit from her granddaughter Margaret Ann from West Valley for a few days. The Mateland Baughs enjoyed having daughter Kelley Moore and sons Dallen and Justin home for a -snara-H-arc-sn-tf-ar y, uuLuuujururir few days. 'Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Tucker and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Tucker were at the Max Stewart home and attended the wedding for nephew Trevor Stewart. Mr. and Mrs. Glade Stewart spent the weekend with the Reginald Stewarts and the Aaron Stewarts. LaFaun Pollock, RaVac Pollock and Fcrriland Rucsch visited with the Russell Wrights in Hurricane. Russell is doing well after his heart surgery. Bonnie Miles spent a few days visiting with her mother Ella Adair. Bonnie's daughters, Carrie Fcris and Kaylynn Paas also came to spend a day with their grandmother and to help their mother sew school clothes. The Scott Miller family visited with Ella Adair. Lacce Edwards visited in Tropic and attended the Trevor Stewart wedding reception. The Merrill Woodbury family visited with Kent and Dean Wintch. Merrill also assisted with the naming of their granddaughter, Samantha Ann, daughter of Trent and Tcra Moycrs, in church on Sunday. Tracy Litllcficld also had her baby given the name Zachary Ryan. Lance Foster was ordained a Teacher in the LDS church. The Ben Riddles had a family rendevous at Brian Head for three days with their children, Ben and Mike Riddle, Shauna Smith and Chcri Fcltncr. No spouses or grandchidren were invited. The Larvin Pollocks made a trip to Delta Friday to sec the rodeo and visit with son, Bill and family. Then they went on to Salt Lake to attend the While family reunion. The Robert Hurls had daughter, Vickie Young spend a few days wilh them. |
