Show Boulder On April 18 Mr. and Mrs. Val . Jean Haws, Mr. and Mrs. Dean Tucker, and Mr. and Mrs. Gary Haws and the grandchildren hosted a surprise birthday party for their mother, Golda Haws at the Boulder LDS Cultural Hall. Family members who came were Mr. and Mrs. Otto Haws, Mr. and Mrs. Heber Poulson, Mr. and Mrs. ,Neal Jepsen, 1,1a, Jean, nWiruv ci'Richfiel4,;;Mr..,and Mrs. ., Jim : Haws of Wyoming, Mr. and Mrs. Sherrill Alvey and Mr. and Mrs. Scott Dickson of Layton. On April 18, a reception to celebrate the marriage of Andy and Camille Roundy Anderson was held at the cultural hall. Relatives who came were Camille's mother, Elaine Roundy; sisters, Brenda Roundy, Claudia Roundy, and Roberta Roundy and brother Wesley Roundy; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dean Romrell, brothers and sisters-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Milton Anderson and Mr. and Mrs. Brian Anderson; and sisters, Jan Anderson and Laura Anderson. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Vidrine, Mr. and Mrs. Karl Spencer and Helna Spencer, all of Escalante. Those who went through the St. George LDS Temple with Ward Coombs were his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Coombs, grandmother. Fay Alvey, and Mr. and Mrs. Fay Alvey, and Mr. and Mrs. Otto Haws. Ward entered the Missionary f Training Center on April 22. Mr. and Mrs. Leon Bailey came back to spend the summer months at their home in Boulder. Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Wilson's son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Wilson of St. George, the grandchildren of Mr. and Mrs. Dean Wilson, and Cynthia Wilson from Brigham Young University, spent Easter weekend at their home. Kathleen Winters of Las Vegas stayed a week with her mother, Alice Alvey. Jim Brady was in Cedar City to see his daughter and family. Mr. and Mrs. Mac LeFevre went to Richfield to see Mr. and Mrs. Burke Hafen then went to Salina to spend Easter. Mr. and Mrs. Leo Gardner had these children here for Easter: Mr. and Mrs. Vaughn Evans of Logandale, Nev.; Mr. and Mrs. Larry Gardner of Beryl; and Mr. and Mrs! Kelly Shakespear of Tropic. The Gardners received word that , son, Kevin Gardner, entered the Air Force Officer's Training Center on April 21. He will be stationed at San Antonia, Tex. . Farlan Behunin of Colorado came to see his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Max Behunin. J.C. Moosman brought his father, Doyle Moosman, home from his vacation in Tucson, Ariz. They were accompanied by Jewel Bowman. Mr. and Mrs.' Paul Allen of West Jordan spent Easter with them. On April 17, the Darrell Luke family of Kingston presented a musical program for the Boulder Elementary students. Afterwards, everyone enjoyed ice cream. Mr. and Mrs. Weels Barsch's new house is now under construction. . , - |
