Show By Mamie Talbot 676-8084 Mamie and Barbara Talbot have returned home from two weeks in Virginia helping out and attending the wedding of Mamie's granddaughter, grand-daughter, Jennifer Williams to Scott Yetters. They were married in the Washington D.C. LDS Temple. Jennifer is the daughter of Dennis and Karen Talbot Williams and Scott is the son of the Larry Yetters of Prossor, Wash. Mamie and Barbara went east on the Amtrak train and enjoyed seeing the country from ground level, but due to the rail strike, they had to fly back west to Salt Lake City. They had short visits with the Lyle Talbots and Sandy and Rich Talbot of Orem. Leo and Charlene Norton and grandson, Rory Norton came from Bountiful to help Emil Norton for two weeks. The Henry Excell family was here for the family reunion. Don and Alta Excell came straight from their LDS mission field service in Louisiana to the reunion, without going to their home in Arizona. Reta Jones, sister of Ingra Richards, spent the weekend with her recently in Panguitch before returning re-turning to her home in Salt Lake City. George and Thora Proctor went to Cedar City to attend the graduation gradua-tion of Shalice Proctor. They also had the families of all of the Hyrum Barlows down over the weekend and they all camped out at the lake. George and Thora went up to the Jim and LuWain Proctors over Father's Day. They even went to the Great Salt Lake and went wading. Maloy Dodds and his mother, Rea Dodds, traveled to Bountiful to attend the wedding of Rea's great-granddaughter, great-granddaughter, Sheri Hansen. They returned to Panguitch to pick up Maloy's wife, Carol, and went on to Whittier, Calif, to attend the graduation of Rea's granddaughter, Rebecca Oldham, who graduated as one of the top honor students in her class and was chosen to give the commencement address. She received re-ceived a four-year scholarship to Brigham Young University as well as a cash scholarship. Rebecca is the daughter of Mary Jean Dodds Oldham and the late John Oldham. Visiting Henry and Tanya Thomas for two days were Lydia and Taylor Richards from Parker, Colo. Lydia has the summer off since she is a sixth grade teacher in Colorado. Mike Thomas and Tim O'Connal were down over the weekend. Hollie and Kelly Hailstone and J.C. Thomas attended Chet Hailstone's Hail-stone's wedding and spent the night in Delta. Henry and Tanya Thomas had Dave Wilson over in Beaver paint their Lincoln, as did Norm and Dora Henrie. Tanya is getting ready to makes changes on her Corner Deli. She has already had the gas pumps taken out. She had dear friends from Payson stop in and say hello; Diane and Greg Haney Anderson. Dwayne Davis, Cedar City also visited at the Thomas household. Dwayne took one of the Thomas travel trailers to Richfield where he will be working on a new job. Claude and Suzann Hatch have traveled to Fort Carson, Colo, for Claude Barney Hatch's graduation from his special military schooling. They report that Claude and Carrie Hatch are doing just great but missing miss-ing everyone back home. . . Hollie Hailstone had visitors from Germany. Her pen a pal of six years, Olympic gymnast Markus Stumm, sent greetings via his aunt and uncle and other relatives. rela-tives. They surprised Hollie stopping stop-ping in at the deli. |
