Show Tropic News Ella Adair The Pahreah Camp of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers met Monday in the Scout House. Grace Sandburg gave the lesson in individual indi-vidual histories. Ella Adair gave a history of the stores in Tropic. Erma Clarke and Ella Adair were hostesses. Jessica Castro had a tonsillectomy tonsillec-tomy during the week. The Herman Pollocks received word that they have a new grandson born Jan. 7 in Wyoming to Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Pollock. Mr. and Mrs. Grant LeFevre visited with the Adrian Pollocks. Mr. and Mrs. Scott Mecham and Mr. and Mrs. Steve Mecham were weekend visitors at the Lowell Mecham home. Crystal Mangum and Anita Francisco were home for the weekend. week-end. In Sunday's LDS sacrament meeting Tanya Feltner and Joy Pollock were graduated from Primary and welcomed into the Young Women's. Ruth Baugh is the new Sunday School music director. Malen Mecham, Viva Mecham and Stan Mecham attended funeral services for Faye Losee in Bloom-ington Bloom-ington Saturday. Leon Stewart visited his parents Mr. and Mrs. Reginald Stewart. Renone Hodson visited her mother Violet Littlefield. Mary LeFevre made a trip to St. George so son Jason could receive medical care. Mr. and Mrs. Alston Shakespear were in St. George for eye appointments. ap-pointments. They visited daughter Barbara Duke and family while there. Mary LeFevre had a group of friends in for a quilting party. Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Adair have a new great-grandson bom to Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Miles, West Jordan. The Gile Miles are grandparents. Keela Mangum made a trip to St. George with son Tawn for medical care. Earl Jolley went to St. George to hear his grandson Lance Smith give his mission report. Mr. and Mrs. Norm Littlefield arc in Las Vegas for two months. Norm will have surgery while there. They will also attend a wedding for their two granddaughters and a mission report from their grandson. Eva Dean Francisco made a trip to Parowan to take her two grandsons grand-sons home. Iris Bushnell visited with daughter Keela Mangum. Brady Syrett and Cari Baugh were home from college over the weekend. |
