Show By Mamie Talbot 676-8084 Pickups were going every which way the morning before the deer hunt opened. Stockmen who were gathering in their cattle from the forest reported there have been so many people out finding camping spots and checking for deer have traveled the dirt roads until they are in poor condition and clouds of dust follow every vehicle. On a lovely gold and blue day last week Lisa Bridges, daughter of Randal and Debbie Bridges and Larry Sid well, son of Mary Lyn Sidwell, Escalante, were married in a western setting under an arch in the Bridge's yard. With the deep blue sky and golden leaves, it would be hard to find a more beautiful beau-tiful setting then Panguitch valley. Colleen Barlow took George and Thora Proctor to Fresno, Calif, to visit their sister and brother, Delia and Lou Eck., who are very ill. They also stopped in Las Vegas and visited her other sister, Addie McDonald, who is not so well either and Colleen's son and family, the Russ Barlows who have a new pair of twin girls. They enjoyed seeing them and getting acquainted with all of the family. Laine and Gloria Sevy have returned re-turned from a trip to Leavenworth, Kan. where they visited Gloria's sister, Louise Crosby. The Red Canyon Visitors Center is closed now so the Sevys who are campground hosts, have time to come and go as they please. The Dennis Mosers are building a home on the east side of the Panguitch Pan-guitch Lake road. We are getting so many homes under the lake hill, it seems we need the city boundaries bound-aries extended both north and south. Kevin and Deana Moore are planning a home next to Steve Hatch, down the first pasture lane. The two Daughters of the Utah Pioneers camps met at the senior citizen center for the October meeting.
