Show Panguitch News Mamie Talbot With the excitement of the deer hunt for the older people and Halloween Hal-loween for the young ones over with, the valley is getting more quiet all the time. We've had a nice little rain storm to wet the ground for the coming of snow which is still missing. The Frank Whites are home from medical tests in California and Frank is back at his post at the barber shop. The Evan Excells and Don Marshall Mar-shall were here for the deer hunt. The Steele Henries had Vaughn Henrie and Tyson Henrie of California Cali-fornia and Tracy Henrie of Cedar City here. Curtis Robison was at the Vern Robisons. Dolly Henrie is back home after flying to Salem, Ore., for memorial services for grandson David Evans who was killed in an automobile accident. David was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Val Priest Mrs. Priest is the former Alice Brewer of Panguitch. Pangui-tch. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Thomas vacationed va-cationed in Hawaii and visited Mrs. Henry's niece, Brad and Debra Davis Slaugh at Hickham Air Force Base. Mark Church and Debbie Crosby formerly of Panguitch were married recently. They are living in Salt Lake City. Mark Heaton married Malissa Smith; they live in Bountiful. Robert and Cindi Tebbs Judd have a new baby boy. The Judds son Jed Judd received his Duty to God award on Sunday. Page Marsh was called to be first counselor and Janis Henrie was called to be the Laurel leader in the Panguitch First Ward Young Womens. Mr. and Mrs. John Miller came from Ogden to take John's mother, Velta Miller, home with them for the winter. Dee Houston is a patient in Garfield County Hospital. Freda Talbot was in the hospital for a week then went to Provo for further medical treatment. She is at the home of her son Bill Talbot in Provo for a while longer. The Curtis Barney family was welcomed into the Panguitch LDS First Ward. They recently moved into the Rod Parry house. Curtis Bamey, Christine Littlefield and Gloria Houston were called to work in the Sunday School. Mica Ann Owens, daughter of Mike and Trudi . Miller Owens, was given her name and a blessing by President John Yardley. The Panguitch LDS Stake Conference Con-ference will be held Saturday, Nov. 5, at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 6, at 10 a.m. in the Panguitch Stake Center. Travis Talbot, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Talbot, was baptized and confirmed a member of the LDS Church by Blaine Tebbs. ' Word has been received of the accidental death of Weston Chris-tenson Chris-tenson of Apple Valley, Calif. Weston We-ston is the son of Doyle Christen-son, Christen-son, formerly of Panguitch. |
