Show ( AKTSMttKY STEWS 1 By Betty Wiley 624-3215 Two young men formerly of Antimony are leaving for LDS missions: Matt Gould, son of Randy and Kathy Gould, Nephi, who is going to Hong Kong and Robbie Anderson, son of Ray and Diane Anderson, who will be going to Korea. Taking the Emergency Medical Technician training course will be Bernice and George Jolley, Jolene Gleave and Marian Gleave. They travel to Ruby's Inn every Friday evening and on Saturdays for their classes. It is great that they are taking this course as Antimony will be receiving an ambulance. We currently have Drew Kreitzer, Rob Quist, Heather Quist, Michelle Black, Layne Blood and Michelle Blood who are certified EMTs, so we should have a good group in case of emergency. Sustained in LDS Sacrament meeting to new positions in Relief Society were Beverly Hansen as teacher of the homemaking class and Margie Robinson as teacher for the home and family living class. Valeen Roberts is the new Sunbeam Sun-beam teacher in Primary. Marcia Brindley returned from a Denver trade show and reported they had the best show they had ever experienced in Denver. Some of the men in town have been enjoying the snow in the hills as it makes it possible to track cougar and bobcats. The Calvin Polls have been able to get their new house on the foundation foun-dation and are excited about moving in and the new owner of their farm is moving her hired help into the former Poll house. To former residents who read this, this is the former Ches Allen house and farm. The LDS mission farewell for Michelle Blood, who is going to Thailand, will be held January 31. Antimony's little Bantam ball team played against Marysvale on Wednesday evening and lost but it was good practice for the boys who look forward to their next competition. |
