Show ByTyraLudgate Randall and Gwen Lyman have been called to serve an LDS genealogical genea-logical mission. They will leave on Feb. 4 for the Family History Center in Salt Lake City. Last week, Joy Carter reequired surgery on her wrist after a pair of scissors, accidentally dropped, severed sev-ered a tendon in her wrist. Millie Mclnelly fell last week and broke her finger. Mike Boyce and Eve Gyllen-skog, Gyllen-skog, who are both from Salt Lake City, were married last Saturday. Mike and Eve are very good friends of Barry and Celeste Bernards. The newlyweds were married at Death Hollow Overlook and spent their honeymoon at Ruby's Inn. They were married in a very nice ceremony by Doug Wilson who is also a very good friend of Barry and Celeste. There were 35 elementary students stu-dents who had 100 percent attendance atten-dance this term. Also at the elementary, ele-mentary, there is a new computer lab set up about which everyone is very excited. On Thursdsay, Jan 24, there will be a "star party" at 6:30 p.m. at the elementary school. An astronomer from Odgen will be here to explain the constellations. On Jan. 15, Roland Miles, from Cedar City Job Service, came and spoke to the high school students and made them aware of the job opportunities and services available. On Friday, Jan 25, the basketball basket-ball team will travel to play Valley. On Saturday, Jan 26, they will play Enterprise. Also on Saturday the wrestling team will go to Piute. |
