Show Hatch lappenings Mayall Sawyer 735-4207 Mr. and Mrs. Leland Riggs spent the long weekend in Las Vegas visiting their daughters and sons-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Don Ross and Mr. and Mrs. Karri Saxon. William Riggs, Cedar City, came to take care of the animals while his folks were away. Visiting Effel Riggs were her sister, Delia, and husband, Wilford Hales, North Salt Lake. They were en route home after touring the Burr Trail and visiting their children in Arizona. Speakers in Sacrament Meeting were Steele Henrie, Panguitch, and Gail Whittaker, Circleville. Wynn Turek and Ada Nordell, Washington, came on Friday to be with Julia Turek for a few days. Other visitors were Mr. and Mrs. . Edward H. Turek, Las Vegas; Mr. . and Mrs. Brent Turek, Bountiful; Mr. and Mrs. Scott Turek and Tracy Turek, Provo; Mr. and Mrs. David Wynn, Parowan; and Mr. and Mrs. Pete Workman, Orem. Mrs. Wynn Turek and children, Washington, arrived Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Cloyd Campbell, St. George, visited with Mr. and Mrs. Gary Fagg. Visiting Idonna Devel was Val Dean Devel, Parowan. Mr. and Mrs. Dan Barnhurst, Salt Lake City, are visiting Mr. and Mrs. Eric Barnhurst. Mr. and Mrs. Ben Neilson, Magna, are visiting Lynn's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wiley Huntington. Mr. and Mrs. Don Heap, Cedar City, visited Mr. and Mrs. Garth Heap. The Garth Heaps later traveled to Cedar City on business. Visitors with the Heap's were, Mike Heap and Candace Giles, Cedar City. Trudy Fagg, Cedar City, is visiting the Gary Faggs. Mr. and Mrs. Rodger Rodak, Brandon Rodak and Travis Rodak, all Layton, visited Mr. and Mrs. Craig Barney. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Porter, Cameron Porter and Travis Porter, Orem, were here at their home for the weekend. Visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Karl Lowder were their daughters, Velta Sawyer, Kanab, Laretta and Phillip Crofts, Orderville, and Karleta Riggs and Mary Beth Bailey, Panguitch. Kerry Sawyer went to LedarCity and brought Jeff Sawyer, Eric Sawyer and B.J. Blake home for the weekend. The Boy Scouts' "freeze out," was held at Panguitch Lake, Friday and Saturday. Attending from Hatch were: Howard Seals, David Seals, Ben Giles, Lewis Barney, Trenton Fagg, Gordon Nelson, Mervin Barnhurst, Ryan Barney, Jeff Barnhurst, Kevin Barnhurst, Mark Barney, Michael Sawyer and Brandon Nelson. Pete Sawyer and Beverly Brewster were married in the Hatch LDS chapel by President John Yardley of Panguitch, Feb 14. Out-of-town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Kimball Sawyer, Phoenix; Nicole Rheese, Christen Rheese, Scott Rheese and Matthew Rheese, Page, Ariz.; Mr. and Mrs. Eric Latham, Fredonia, Ariz.; Velta Sawyer, Vanita Sawyer and Verla Sawyer, Kanab; and Mr. and Mrs. Dan Eggli and Don Eggli, Salt Lake City. Pete has to leave Friday to go back to Ft. Benning, Ga. Mr. and Mrs. Grant Dalton tended their gandchildren, in Panguitch while the childrens' parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Dalton, went to Salt Lake City over the weekend. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Wiley Huntington over the long weekend were Ann Farnsworth, Jean Julander, Lois Carter, Toni Carter and Cindy Leach, Panguitch; Mr. and Mrs. Allen Huntinton, Bryan Huntington, Lowell Huntington and Betty Kabonic, Kanab; and Carson Neilson, Magna. Attending the funeral for E.F. Turek and visiting family and friends were: Malen Mecham and Viva Mecham, Tropic; Mr. and Mrs. Garth Workman, Keith Workman, Mr. and Mrs. Ivor Riggs and Mr. and Mrs. Garth Wilcock, Dayne Wilcock, Rea Dodds, Mary Henrie, Ruth Henrie, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Ahlstrom, Mr. and Mrs. Kay Heywood, Darlene Sawyer, Ingra Richards, Panguitch. Deta Dix, April Dix and Christy Barabas, Panguitch, visited May Sawyer and Mr. and Mrs. Karl Lowder.
