Show TIT 1(JST STUFF Some things in this world arc awfully difficult to get into. For instance, the medication bottles that are supposed to be child proof. It is a true test of one's agility and patience to gel the little arrows pointing in the right place, the notches lined up and one's thumb placed exactly over the button but-ton that says "Press Here". Except for kids; they can have the caps off those puppies in no time flat. I have added to my headaches in attempting at-tempting to open the aspirin bottle! Cellophane is another "tough to open" item. It doesn't matter whether it's the wrapping on the Q-tip Q-tip box, the clear part of the package pack-age around the "AA" batteries, or the cellophane around your yellow post-it note pads, that clear plastic protector is a pain in the pctuit to pierce. You can try to rip it with your fingers or tear it with your teeth, but it's usually to no avail. A pair of scissors, a knife or a razor blade is about the only answer. Packages labelled "Tear Here", or "Cut Along Dotted Line" are bear-cats it you don't hit the "Tear Here" arrow just right. I've worn the ink off several arrows with my teeth by not Tearing Here just right. Trying to open a roll of life-savers life-savers or a pack of gum without pulling on the little, red pull-string-thing is next to impossible. And, gelling into a roll of Scotch tape is futile unless you can find the end, which is another test of one's patience, not to mention eye sight! I about had to give up cottage cheese wiih the new fangled lids that were being used. Luckily, I think others were sharing my exasperation; exas-peration; my last package of cottage cot-tage cheese had the old stand by, easy to open lid! Of course, "difficult things to get into" are not limited strictly to packaged items. I find it extremely difficult to get into just-washed jeans, my wedding gown and any clothes I have left from college. The mood to clean my house, cook dinner, or pay bills is another thing that's difficult to get into. The list goes on and on. Unfortunately, Unfor-tunately, right at the top of "Things to Get Into" is TROUBLE! |
