Officer Cooper said that the accident ac-cident was caused by snow and ice covered streets. He stated that people need to learn that driving safely in icy or snowy weather is merely learning several very simple rules. One is to lightly pump your brakes in turning or rounding a curve or in stopping. Another rule, he said, is for the driver to take his foot off the brake the moment he senses he is going into a slide. |
