Show By Betty Wiley 624-3215 Pam Nickcrson had members of her family here visiting over the Thanksgiving holiday. All of the Wayne DcLange family fam-ily enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner with Darryl and Jackie Bullock in Cedar City. Coming from St. George on Saturday afternoon Afton and Carol Blood decided to stay the night in Cedar City as the roads were terrible and they didn't want to drive the rest of the freeway and over Bear Valley. Shannon and Julie Allen and Phil and Billie Allen traveled up north for Polled Hereford meetings. They also planned on going through the Bountiful LDS Temple, Tem-ple, seeing tin, Christinas lights on Temple Square and doing some Christmas shopping. Jerry and Janene Savage traveled to Beiwer on Wednesday to attend a party for all the custodians in this Murifui Voiikacncl is still home with the flu but hopes to be back in the store by Saturday. j'-.tt mc' r T:ricy W'i'itc arc back from New Mexico and Texas and will have the Otter Creek Marina open from Friday thru Sunday during dur-ing the winter months. The LDS Relief Society held their annual Christmas party on Wednesday evening with a delicious potluck dinner and the exchange of gifts. Marvin and Beverly Ford will spend the Christmas holidays in Las Vegas, Ncv. Their daughter, Nancy Ford will come after them on the 15 th. The Brian and Julie Jolley family fam-ily spent Thanksgiving with George Ge-orge and Bcmice Jolley. Kirk and Gloria Evans of Lo-gandalc Lo-gandalc came to visit with her parents, par-ents, the George Jollcys, during the holidays. We are proud of our Jennie "Red" Poll for her outstanding ball playing every game but when playing play-ing Green River, she dropped in 23 points. Jeremy Poll, ninth grade, made the Piute Honor Roll. Both are doing great! Ken and Valecn Roberts have three children to be very proud of Ambcrly, tenth grade; Riley, eleventh and Kena, twelfth. All made the Piute High School Honor Roll this quarter. This is not always al-ways easy as Riley played on the varsity basketball team and Ambcrly Am-bcrly plays on the girls basketball team which requires lots of time. KayMar and Mary Jean Willis have Kami, ninth grade, Kent, eighth, and Kati and Kori eleventh grade. One is on the drill team, one plays girls' basketball and the other girl, Kati is varsity cheerleader. Kent is wrestling team manager. All have made the Piute High School Honor Roll. We are very proud of our young people in town. The Piute High School Drill Team took first in dance and first in military in 1A schools at competition competi-tion in Hcbcr City. Two Antimony Anti-mony girls are on that team, Heidi Gardner and Kori Willis. Drew Krcitzer, KayMar Willis, Tom Wiley and Earl Thomlison are starting to groom snowmobile trails now and found three to four feet of snow on Beaver Mountain and another foot while they were working. Jane Wiley reports that her mother, Beverly Frederick, is still in Las Vegas, Nev. with Jan but should know by Monday when they will do surgery on her knee. Crystal Fielding also made the honor roll at Piute High School for ninth grade. Just about missed her! Congratulations one and all! Justin and Kim King are moving mov-ing to Bickncll where he will be working for Chappcll Cheese. Tim and Holly Westwood had their baby at Garfield Memorial Hospital in Panguitch. |
