Show Boulder News On May 22 Sue Bassett and Evonc Roundy presented a musical program at the LDS Church with 20 students participating. On May 21 Ealine Roundy and her daughter Claudia Roundy were the speakers in LDS sacrament meeting. Claudia reported her LDS mission at Tuscon, Ariz. Ashley Coombs, son of Mr. and Mrs. Vard Coombs, was baptized and confirmed by his father on May 20 in LDS church services. The ward budget dinner was held May 29 with a large crowd attending. attend-ing. Mr. and Mrs. Wulf Barsch accompanied ac-companied by ten youths went to St. George where they did temple baptisms May 27 at the St. George LDS Temple. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Smith purchased a farm in Antimony and moved there to live. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Flake and family moved back to their home in Snow Flake, Ariz. Golda Haws came home for the summer. Mr. and Mrs. Dean Tucker, Midvale, were at her home Memorial Day weekend. Others who came for the long weekend were Mr. and Mrs. Dick Lyman, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Lyman, Alice Shaw, and Mr. Richard Hansen, all Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Sherrill Alvey, Layton; and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Morgan, West Valley City. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Cox are at their ranch in Salt Gulch. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Howard Church were their children Robert Church, Catherine Whitmer, Emily McLaws, Gloria Baldwin, Norma Hastings, Elaine Carter, Donna Flaherty, and Debbie Williams. On May 26 the program in LDS sacrament meeting was presented by the Howard Church family. Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Austin, his mother Janet Austin and her sister Kit Strickland were at the Austin home for a week. |
