Trappers and hunters are reminded remin-ded that the lower jaw of the harvested har-vested bobcat must be removed and tagged with the numbered jaw tag corresponding to the number on the temporary possession tag affixed to the hide. The jaw, which is used to determine the age structure of harvested har-vested bobcats, must be turned in to the DWR at the time the permanent tag is attached. Legally taken and tagged bobcat hides may be trans ported by an individual other than the fur harvester, provided the guidelines in the furbearer proclamation procla-mation are followed.
