Show DR M G HANSEN DIED TUESDAY succumbed at A 0 logan hospital to injuries sustained in fall in bear river canyon martin grant hansen age 43 years died at a logan hospital at 5 tuesday evening from the result of 0 an accident which occurred at the cutler development project in dear bear river canyon monday afternoon at 0 clock mr hansen was working with other men on a runway moving a heavy piece of timber one of the hooks holding the timber it Is said slipped and as the rope mr hansen was holding slackened he fell backward from the runway to the ground a distance of about twelve feet alighting on the back of 0 his head he suffered a fractured skull and was rendered unconscious he was taken to a hospital in logan but his condition grew worse until death relieved his bis suffering dufferin suf ferin mr air hansen was born june 11 14 1882 at plain city utah about twenty years ago he married miss alice king of layton they have resided in this city during the past nine years and up until two years ago mr air hansen followed his profession that of 0 a a chiropractor recently he has been working as a carpenter and was employed at the dam in bear river canyon mr hansen was a member of the mormon church and an active worker in its various organizations he was also engaged in scout work and various civic affairs of the community he was a man of splendid character and highly respected by all who knew him surviving are his wife mrs alice hansen one daughter maxine hansen ot of this city lour four brothers joseph and louis hansen of warren utah parley hansen of idaho falls idaho H C hansen of trenton utah three sisters mrs airs josephine thompson of 0 welser weiser idaho mrs dora eames ot teton city idaho mrs joanna C bingham of 0 ogden funeral services will be held saturday morning at 11 at the ath ward chapel under the direction of bishop abel S rich of the first ward interment will be at kaysville Kays ville |
