Show som SOCIAL OF THE WEEK the ladles ladies of at the finesse club entertained last evening at an enjoyable dancing party at the new club rooms in the first national bank building athe arhe com committee attee in charge was composed ot of the misses dasiy bargeron elnora hatch and alton afton hansen invitations were extended to eighty guests and various parts ot of the state the party was in the nature of a carnival dance and the guests all wore colored caps the animated dancers found no end ot of amusement throwing confetti streamers and serpentine an and making all the merriment possible peculiar to a carnival affair refreshments consisting ot of punch and waters were served during the evening music was furnished by norm watkins orchestra mrs thelma francis robbins robbing a bride of 0 the mouth month was the recipient ot of a pleasant shower saturday afternoon given by the officers find and members of 0 her class ot of the fifth ward Y L M I 1 association at the home of her parents mr and mrs john francis the rooms were beautifully decorated in the holiday colors tor for the occasion and games and music were enjoyed refreshments were served during the afternoon to twenty eight present the guest of honor received many beautiful presents as tokens of love and esteem from her co laborers mr and sirs airs J W sheffield entertained at their home sunday complimentary to their wedding anniversary ver Ter sary at 2 a delicious hot dinner was served at two long tables to immediate family members elaborate christmas decorations adorned the rooms and bouquets of holly and poinsett poinsettias las as formed center pieces following dinner the guests enjoyed the afternoon in conversation and musical selections late in the evening a dainty tray luncheon was served about thirty five guests enjoyed the day out of town guests included the following mr and mrs J F sheffield mr and sirs don doa smith and mrs robert sheffield of logan and mr and mrs X N W sheffield ot of salt lake city the sego lily camp of the daughters ot of the pioneers has postponed its regular meeting to monday evening january 4 1926 at the members of the camp will meet off oi this date at the home ot of mrs larson on con west and ath south street |
