Show Hatch Happenings Velma Huntington 735-4231 Sacrament meeting was held for the last time in our old chapel. There are only 108 ward members yet 112 people attended the meeting. Speakers were former bishop, Layton Barney, Ivor Riggs and Mervin Barnhurst and present bishop Dallas F. Barnhurst. A tribute "To Our Old Chapel" was given by one of the oldest members Effel Riggs. A special song, "Bless This House" was sung by the congregation. The Gale Wilcocks took Gregg Raisanen to Richfield before he left for Logan to attend school. Visiting the Wilcocks were the Gam Wilcocks and Earn Lewis, Cir-.cleville. The Wilcocks' nephew,, ' lilllie Wilcock and Patricia Matthew- were married Feb. 17. They will make their home in Kanab. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Evans attended funeral services in Virgin for Mrs. Albert (Hilda) Jones. The Grant Daltons and the Gale Wilcocks visited the Bruce Daltons, Panguitch. Dinner guests at the Daltons were the Bruce Daltons and the Gale Wilcocks. Visiting the Daltons were Bruno LeFevre, France. Shannon, Travis and Shawnee Clark returned to Kanab after visiting the Grant Daltons. Nicole, Kristen and Scott Rheese, Page, Ariz, visited their parents, the LaVal and the Arnold Sawyers. Francis Porter's mother, Oreah Luke Porter, died in a St. George hospital. Visiting the Layton Barneys were Joan and David Ipson, Panguitch. The Kent Sawyers, Cedar City visited his parents, the David Sawyers. They accompanied them to Antimony to visit the Ken Roberts. Visitors at church were Mr. and Mrs. Pat Dix, Mr. and Mrs. Kelly Dix, April, Jason and Angela Dix, Roberta Irish and Kristy Barbas, all Panguitch, Ivor Riggs, Ivonne, Dianna and Kenny Sawyer, Cedar City. Shelly Burrows, Shirley and Monica Wilhelm visited in Mesquite,' Nev. and St. George. Mr. and Mrs. Karl Lowder and Velma Huntington visited the Larry Baileys, Minersville. |
