Taking prize of a side of pork (cut and wrapped) was Calvin Davis, a native of Panguitch, whose buck measured 33 inches. C. Arthur Miller took home prize of 25 pounds of hamburger with his 15 point buck, the most points of those registered for contest. The prize of a case of oil went to Marion Frandsen whose catch had the smallest spread measuring 4'.' Calvin Davis also won a Remington 243 and a 4-Power Tasco Scope, for heaviest buck, weighing 224 pounds and widest rack of 33 'i inches. Prizes were offered jointly this year by S & C Merc and SUE Market. Grand Prize winner of the Color TV offered at Rustic Lodge hunt. Itorrdom quickly changed to delight as "dear ole Dad" bagged this 210 pound six point with his 50 caliber Thompson-1 la w kin. Panguitch Lake went to Linda Young, a Las Vegas resident. All prizes awarded at the Rustic Lodge were eight only entries with the winning buck weighing 262 pounds. |
